Position Requirements
Cashier
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Excellent customer service and telephone skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Minimum of six (6) months of cashiering experience. Ability to utilize a computer keyboard.
Credit Supervisor
This position reports to the company Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for recommending and administering credit department policies and procedures, as well as evaluating customer credit applications, establishing credit limits, collection procedures, and training and development of team members.
The successful candidate will have at least five years of credit experience, with at least two at a supervisory level. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred, along with experience in a retail environment. Must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
Custodian
Service-oriented individual to maintain the overall cleanliness of store facilities. Minimum of 12 months continuous professional custodial experience, preferred and HS Diploma or equivalent required. Must be dependable and flexible and have a positive attitude.
Head Cashier
2 years customer service experience, H.S. diploma and 1 years cash handling experience
Human Resources Manager
Provide operational Human Resources leadership, direction and management of all human resources functions, including organizational analysis and planning, recruitment, employee relations, training and development, policy and benefits administration, collective bargaining agreement administration and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, good management skills, a degree in human resources or related field and 5 years in-depth human resources management experience. Our team consists of 450+ employees.
Inventory Control Supervisor
High school graduate with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience and at least 3 year of retail experience, preferably in a retail hardware setting, this may be the perfect job for you. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented with good math and computer skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Enjoys multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.
Sales Associate
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum of 12 continuous months retail experience preferred. Excellent customer service and telephone skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Supervisor
Supervisor
Seeking individuals with minimum 3 years retail experience and 2 years supervisory experience, with at least 12 months in a hardware or home improvement setting. Excellent customer service and communication skills. High School diploma required; Associates degree preferred. Proven ability to train, coach and evaluate personnel. Must be able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Training Coordinator
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to speak in front of peers and large groups. Ability to lead and maintain control of discussions. Strong working knowledge of hardware and/or home improvement retail operations and products. Personal vehicle, valid State of Hawaii driver’s license, and current car insurance policy. Individual must not be dependent upon other driver for transportation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively plan, prepare, coordinate and present training sessions in the areas of selling skills and product knowledge.
Other Requirements
Upon completing your employment application, you have completed the first step in our employment process. However, every applicant is required to pass a basic math test before their application can be considered.
Math tests are administered by our Human Resources Department Monday thru Thursday between 8:30am and 3:30pm (no appointment necessary). Our Human Resources Deparment is located at 660 N. Nimitz Hwy. in Honolulu. Failure to comply with this requirement will disqualify you from further consideration.
