What Makes Sani Seal Toilet Gasket Superior?

Sani Seal Toilet Gasket is made of polyurethane foam that is repositionable, antimicrobial and functions no matter what the temperature, providing an easy trouble free installation. Sani Seal Toilet Gasket remains flexible and resilient even in extreme temperatures, it also provides a seal when the flange is not set level relative to the finished floor. Sani Seal Toilet Gasket can be used in applications where the flange is positioned up to 1/4"³ above the finished floor and as much as 3/8"³ below the finished floor.

Two Sani Seal Toilet Gasket's can be stacked to provide a seal when the gap is too large for one gasket without the risk of deforming and being pushed inward and creating a partial blockage in the flange. Sani Seal Toilet Gaskets also can be siliconed together or coated with plumbers paste for additional sealing properties, although not necessary. Also when resetting a toilet that has been set on wax, it is not necessary to clean the wax off completely, the wax will not affect the performance of Sani Seal Toilet Gasket. Sani Seal Toilet Gasket's unique design and structure make it extremely user friendly in providing a trouble free water and gas tight toilet seal.

We designed the Sani Seal to be a 1-5/16"³ thick seal compressable down to 1/4"³. At this thickness the installer will only need one gasket when the flange is 1/4"³ above the floor and 3/8"³ below the floor. We based this thickness on bathroom remodels where the installer secures the flange to the subfloor, then places backer board and tile, putting the flange well below the surface of the floor.

When using a PVC flange, which is 7/16"³ thick, secured to the subfloor there will have to be at minimum a layer of vinyl laid down and around the flange. Sani Seal will not compress enough for most toilets that are placed on a flange that is installed on top of the floor or is more than 1/4"³ above the floor. In those cases the installer has the option to use toilet shims or a toilet base plate.
